Behind the scenes

• The reason that the show is having a rest year in 2009, and is only having a few specials in it is because in 2008, the actor who plays the lead role in Doctor Who, David Tennannt, is unavailable, because he is playing the lead in Hamlet in a West End Theatre production of the play.
