Tymerian Empire

The Tymerian Empire was the empire of the Tymerian race, ruled by her Royal Tectrope. The fall of the empire was a direct result of the outlawing of doors, after her Royal Tectrope got her fourth proboscis jammed in a suction door.

As a result, all the extra faff climbing in and out of windows and having to walk up and down stairs 'cos you couldn't use lifts any more meant that nothing ever got done. Productivity dropped and the economy eventually crashed.(TDA: Forever Autumn)
