On 19 January, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1974 - Episode two of Invasion of the Dinosaurs was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1974 - Part six of TV Comic story The Amateur was first published.
- 1978 - The novelisation of The Face of Evil was first published by Target Books.
- 1982 - Part two of Four to Doomsday was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1983 - Part two of Snakedance was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1984 - Part one of The Awakening was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1985 - Part one of Vengeance on Varos was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1989 - REF: The Doctor Who File was first published in paperback by W.H. Allen & Co.
- 1995 - New Adventures novel Warlock and Missing Adventures novel The Romance of Crime were first released by Virgin Books.
- 2004 - The Visitation was released on Region 2 DVD.
- 2009 - The Next Doctor was released on Region 2 DVD. The DVD also included the 2008 Doctor Who at the Proms concert and the mini-episode Music of the Spheres.
- 2012 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story Picture Imperfect was first published.
