Maria Jackson
Maria Jackson is a young neighbour and ally of Sarah Jane Smith.
Bio
When Maria was thirteen, her parents Alan and Chrissie Jackson divorced, and she and her father moved to 36 Bannerman Road in Ealing, London. (SJA: The Day of the Clown)
That night Maria made the life-changing discovery of a neighbour, Sarah Jane Smith, conversing with a glowing winged alien. The very next day, she and a new friend from the neighourhood went to the Bubble Shock! factory, encountered other, unfriendly aliens and with Sarah, Kelsey and a young artificial Human, the Archetype, banded together to defeat the Bane invasion. A few months later her friend Kelsy moved away, her and luke met Clyde Langer and they found out that the Slitheen where trying to freeze the sun. They foiled there Plan but a young Slitheen escaped. (SJA: Revenge of the Slitheen)
After a tip of on Lavender Lawns Nursing homes Sarah Jane took her, Clyde and Luke to the hom and found that the nuns where keeping a gorgon and turning people into stone. Sarah Jane defeated the Gorgon after nearly becoming one. (SJA: Eye of the Gorgon)
She then stoped General Kudlak with his plans to use Earth Children as warriors to fight in a war that was over a few years before hand. (SJA: Warriors of Kudlak)

Her dad told her that she was moving due to the fact that there where aliens and Sarah Jane in Bannerman Road. But she encountered the Slitheen agian and stopped them from crashing the moon on the Earth. So her dad let her stay on Bannerman Road. (SJA: The Lost Boy)
Maria was in Cornwall with her father during the events of Earth's transportation to the Medusa Cascade and the subsequent Dalek invasion. (DW: The Stolen Earth)

Personality
Maria has a patient, tolerant personality and also an inquisitive one. The divorce of her parents has made her somewhat moody. Maria seems much less worldly-wise and trendy than Kelsey though she was also braver and more sensitive. Clearly, Maria looks up to Sarah Jane.

Donna's World
If Donna Noble had turned right for a job interview instead of turning left, Maria would have investigated the Royal Hope Hospital with Sarah Jane, Clyde and Luke. Since, as it was moved to the moon, the oxygen ran out it caused every one in the hospital, including Maria, to die of suffocation. (DW: Turn Left)
