FL 400 Series D

A FL 400 Series D was a model of computer. One of this model was installed on Uthe 3, at its underground military control centre. There, it had unnecessarily prolonged the planet's world war by some 127 years. It had incorrectly advised the military leadership that the surface was rendered completely uninhabitable because of the Red-Plague. However, the Fourth Doctor and K9 Mark II were able to successfully dispute this assertion by producing a Uthanian scatterbud, a flower which only grew on the surface of Uthe 3. The computer's grip on the people was immediately severed, and the war ended, once this evidence of life was given. (PROSE: Sweet Flower of Uthe)
