Lux family

Lux was a surname shared by the human family that built and maintained the Library planet.
Known members of the family include:
- Felman Lux, the original architect of the Library and founder of the Felman Lux Corporation
- Charlotte Abigail Lux, Felman's youngest daughter
- Strackman Lux, Felman's grandson

Behind the scenes
The name "Lux" derives from the Latin word for "light". This is ironic given that the Library is made unusable by living shadows.
