Welcome to the Tardis:About HarveyWallbanger

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

No real world info

Hiya :) Thanks for your edits here! Please be very careful, however, when editing about real world things. Your edits at Hawaii are a case in point. We don't know from any DWU source that it is "insular" or a "state" or that it became a state in 1959. Those are all real world facts, but the DWU is not the real world. Please try to never go beyond what is explicitly stated in DWU sources, as is indicated in our local policies. Thanks :)

p.s. I'll correct Hawaii, but if you've made any similar errors lately, please make sure you scrub away any "real world creep" that you may have allowed in.
Ok, thank you. That is a piece of policy I had missed!--HarveyWallbanger 21:52, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Sontarans

Gotcha. I reworded it a bit. If you get a chance, take a look and see if it sounds good to you. Thanks! Shambala108 23:47, August 6, 2013 (UTC)

The Name of the Doctor revertion

Heya. The reason I reverted your edit was because it wasn't much of a strong continuity link. Continuity sections are for detailing the story's link to another story, such as if the Doctor mentions a trip to someplace like Venice, then we could say something like: "the Doctor visited Venice in...". Your edit basically could be said about alot of stories - where the Doctor repeats something he's said before, because we all repeat things we've said before, and it's just not a strong enough link to tie the two stories together. The paragraph before gives an example of when the Doctor has avoided a goodbye because he said he "hates them," which is a definitive link to what he's said. Has that cleared things up a tad? :) --Revan\Talk 17:51, August 12, 2013 (UTC)
