William of Orange was a British king who died on 8 March 1702 — at least according to a newspaper that the Fifth Doctor and Turlough read. His death caused ordinary English subjects toast the health of the heir-apparent, Princess Anne. He was the William of "William and Mary" fame. (AUDIO: Phantasmagoria)
