{{Feature/doc}} is a template that lets you enter a title, picture and lead paragraph so that they all can be formatted uniformly on a page in the transmat namespace.

Usage is straightforward.

{{feature
|title = title of article
|image = image name (Just the name. No [[brackets]]. No File: before. No .jpg after.)
|lead = lead paragraph
}}

Though it makes it somewhat easier to read if you break each variable onto its own line, it is useful to collapse the entire template onto one line. So, for example:

{{feature|title=William Hartnell|image=HartnellHeadOn|lead='''William Hartnell''' was the first actor to play [[the Doctor]]. An actor who had a considerable number of roles that brought him public attention, it was his work on ''Doctor Who'' that undoubtedly gave him his greatest national exposure in Britain.}}

A barebones version for cutting and pasting in to articles is as follows:

{{feature|title=|image=|lead=}}

In general, it would be best to use video to illustrate these most important of articles. To do this you just need to add ext= but don't attach any value to it. Here's an example:

{{feature|title=Title of topic|image=This is the name of a video|ext=|lead='''Topic''' was …}}
