You may wish to consult rose (disambiguation) for other, similarly-named pages.

A rose was, according to Rose Tyler, "a sort of plant". (TV: The End of the World) The smell of roses was a desirable scent that the Fifth Doctor found "quite peaceful". (TV: Castrovalva) The flower was also considered beautiful and wondrous, although, as the Eleventh Doctor put it, "every rose has its thorns". (TV: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe)

On Dark Space 8, Nicky Newman bought some roses for Mel to make up for his earlier behaviour. (AUDIO: Bang-Bang-A-Boom!) The Midnight Cathedral smelled thoroughly of roses everywhere. (PROSE: The Quantum Archangel) Jack Dupre once made a red rose seemingly appear out of thin air; Fitz Kreiner described it as "fresh and full, a water drop trembling on one of the leaves". (PROSE: The City of the Dead) Susan Foreman's real name in high Gallifreyan (Arkytior) means rose.

Fairies could rose petals flow out of people's mouths. They all then died of asphyxiation. (TV: Small Worlds)
