On 20 September, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1963 - The original cast of Doctor Who — that is, William Hartnell, Carole Ann Ford, William Russell and Jacqueline Hill — met for the first time for a photoshoot. The first ever photographs of Doctor Who were thus taken.[1] According to photographer Don Smith, the pictures were taken in BBC Television Centre's basement.[2]
