Notes
- The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver is destroyed by the Cyberleader. He presumably builds another one before (DW: Rose (TV story))
- The Cybermen cannot convert aliens into Cybermen. (Which could contradict Lytton's near conversion in (DW: Attack of the Cybermen) but it is never stated that Lytton was not human).
- This comic story was rereleased in The Flood graphic novel .

Continuity
- The story features the return of MI6 and its director, Leighton Woodrow. They were previously used in The Fallen.
- The Cyber-Controller returns, having last been seen in DW: Attack of the Cybermen.
- The Cybermen again travel through time (DW: Earthshock/Attack of the Cybermen).
- The Doctor mentions that radiation exposure is a good way to trigger a Regeneration, he knows this because that was how the Third Doctor regenerated in DW: Planet of the Spiders.
