Antalin

Antalin was a planet which served as a decoy for Skaro.
The Daleks, via time travel, discovered records which showed Skaro's destruction. These records referred to the outcome of the Shoreditch Incident in which the Doctor apparently destroyed Skaro using the Hand of Omega. In order to fool both Davros and the Doctor into thinking Skaro had been destroyed, the Daleks terraformed Antalin to resemble Skaro. It was Antalin which served as the location for the Doctor and Romana's encounter with the Daleks and was destroyed by the Hand of Omega. (EDA: War of the Daleks)
- This is all revealed through the Dalek Prime in War of the Daleks. Some fans have theorised that the story is actually a fabrication for propaganda purposes and that Skaro was indeed destroyed in Remembrance of the Daleks'.
