Betty was the daughter of Ruby and Tyler. Due to the nurse taking care of Ruby passing out, the Eleventh Doctor, with the help of Mae Callon, helped deliver Ruby's baby. Ruby had assumed that her baby would be a boy and name him after her husband, but since the baby is a girl, she didn't know what to name her. The baby told the Doctor that her name was "Kill-a-Tron 3000", but he quickly decided that Betty would be a more suitable name for her. (PROSE: Shroud of Sorrow)
