Blontt was a green creature. He was one of the aliens who lived on Maught. They entered into a fragile "partnership" with Angelo and Tu – each of the three had one of the necessary co-ordinates to drill into a long lost underground stream. Blontt had the depth co-ordinates (42.2) but was shot by Angelo for his betrayal of the partnership by trying to go freelance. Before he died he gave the depth co-ordinates to the Tenth Doctor. By drilling too deep with false co-ordinates given by the Doctor, the underground stream was exposed and allowed water to flow across the planet's surface once more.
