Bruce Forsyth appeared as himself in the National Television Awards Sketch 2011, while the Eleventh Doctor was trying to drop off Dermot O'Leary at the 2011 National Television Awards, Dermot stepped out of the TARDIS into the BBC Television Centre one hundred years into the future where he saw Bruce Forsyth, who showed no signs of ageing since 2011. Forsyth confirmed to a surprised O'Leary that he was still doing TV before the latter soon departed. Bruce's unchanged appearance while doing TV in 2111 is a reference to his already long television, film and stage career, spanning around seventy years.
