The Straw that Broke the Camel's Back was the fourth story in the anthology Decalog. It was written by Vanessa Bishop. It featured the Third Doctor, Liz Shaw and Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.
Summary
The Doctor discovers an alien spaceship has crashed on Earth and is determined to deal with it alone. But when the alien starts to run amok, the Doctor discovers he needs the Brigadier more than ever.
