22 years old. Was not a fan of the franchise during or before the "wilderness years".

What brought me into this?

I was familiar with Doctor Who (including the webcasts Scream of the Shalka and Real Time) prior to the fact, but Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant were still what completely brought me into the show and universe. I don't remember for certain, but the stepping stone before those was possibly the first Doctor Who at the BBC release with Elisabeth Sladen and Nicholas Courtney.

Doctor Who interests

Getting more into the classic '63-'89 series and Big Finish, even though there's a hell of a lot to watch/listen to. As of 2014, I've bought a ton of IDW digital comics from the Humble Bundle store, so that's on my imminent "to read" list.

Possibly one of a handful of "Torchwood guys" on this wiki. Genuinely enjoy the original two series, even if the later ones have more consistent writing.

Favourite writers are probably a tie between Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat. Anything more specific for a "favourite episode" is impossible. For Moffat, this still holds true as of The Day of the Doctor and The Time of the Doctor.

Also, even if they're not quite classics, I quite liked Daleks in Manhattan, Evolution of the Daleks, the Slitheen family episodes and Love & Monsters, or at the very least, find more good than bad in them.
