The Woodlice monsters encountered by the Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald in a family’s garden on Earth, were non hostile. They were winged,highly evolved, civilised and nested in the tops of Time Trees. The Time Trees grew upwards in time as well as space; the higher one climbed, the further into the future one travelled. (COMIC: A Long Way Down)
