Russell Tovey portrayed Titanic Midshipman, Alonzo Frame in Voyage of the Damned. In his book, The Writer's Tale, Russell T Davies suggests that he could imagine himself casting Tovey to play the 11th Doctor, though the role later went to Matt Smith.
