Joanne Carver was the captain of a ship that took Bernice Summerfield to a Sea Devil base. Irving Braxiatel thought she was a terrorist. She distracted the colony by staging a shark attack and wanting to destroy the Sea Devil colony. This was because they were a new race on the planet and she didn't like them on it.
