John Ronald Simm (born 10th July 1970 in Leeds, West Yorkshire) played Mr. Saxon -- aka the latest (and final?) incarnation of the Master -- in [[Utopia {TV story)|Utopia]], The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords. He is probably best known for his role as Sam Tyler in the BBC drama Life on Mars.
