Dai Evans was a Llanfairfach miner. He and Dave went into the mine to investigate Hughes's death. He was infected by Global Chemicals pollutants and called for help over telephone to his co-workers. By the time help came for him, he succumbed to the toxins and died. (TV: The Green Death)
