An a parallel Earth's version of the Brigadier, Brigade Leader Lethbridge-Stewart was in charge of the "scientific labour camp" carrying out Stahlmann's project. (DW: Inferno) He was shot by Section leader Elizabeth Shaw, while trying to force The third doctor to take them to this universe. If he didn't die then his body would have been shortly destroyed by a lava flow.
Behind the Scenes
Dialogue in Inferno only refers to the Brigade Leader by his title and and last name, but not by his first name, presumably he has the same first and middle names as his counterpart, though this remains unclear.
