W. Coburn

W. Coburn was the headmaster of Coal Hill School in the 2010s. He was in charge of organising teachers for student-teacher conferences, such as Clara Oswald and Danny Pink. (TV: The Day of the Doctor, The Caretaker)

- Coburn shares their first initial with Waris Hussein and their surname with Anthony Coburn, the director and writer respectively of the first ever Doctor Who story, An Unearthly Child.
- They also share their name with the in-universe character Wendy Coburn from PROSE: Time and Relative, who was a pupil at Coal Hill in 1963.
