Robin Squire

Born Robin E. Squire, Robin portrayed the lead Auton in Jon Pertwee's debut story Spearhead from Space. Robin appeared on the DVD Down to Earth (documentary) which explained more of his time as the uncredited Assistamt Script Editor for Spearhead from Space's first episode. In 2014, Robin released an autobiography about his time as an Auton called The Life and Times of a Doctor Who Dummy or Doctor Who: My part in his Second Regeneration. The autobiography explored how he got to be lead Auton when the original actor hired got afraid of being in the costume and couldn't do the filming. For Episode 1, Robin would not recive credit for being the Assistant Script Editor on Jon's very first story. Robin would return as the BBC 3 camera man in The Daemons episodes 1 and 2. The next time Robin would be seen in the whoniverse was in Season 18's Full Circle (TV story) as Starliner Dweller in Part One and the fourth part of the final episode of Tom Baker's Run Logopolis (TV story) as Pharos Project Boffin.
