Apollonian

The Apollonians were Sun worshippers who believed the Sun was God. According to Sandy Tanaka, the Apollonians "went nuts" when Rudy Zoom announced his expedition to go to the Sun and said that he was "violating the body of the creator". Sandy also said that the Apollonians had a prophecy, in which "[i]f the body of the Sun [were] ever violated, [...] the Eye of Torment would open. It would look down on humanity and condemn [them]."
