Tiberius, also known as Tiberius Claudius Nero, was the stepson of Augustus. (PROSE: Rome) He replaced Augustus as Emperor of Rome in AD 14. (PROSE: Byzantium!)

Behind the scenes

He was played by Andre Morell in the ITV historical drama The Caesars and by George Baker in the BBC adaptation of I, Claudius.
