Christina de Souza is a character that is going to appear in Planet of the Dead. She is most likely going become a one-off companion for the Tenth Doctor.
Biography
She first appears to be a professional jewellery thief, as hinted by her attire. She robs a jewelery store and escapes onto a bus where she meets the Doctor. However the bus soon takes a detour into danger, as the passengers arrive on the titular 'Planet of the dead.' With the help of the Doctor, a professor named Malcolm and captain of UNIT Erisa Magumbo, Christina ultimately helps to save the Earth and becomes a better person in the process.
Doctor Who Production staff have stated that meeting Christina will lead to a "shocking event" in The Doctor's life.
