A fortune teller worked on the planet Shan Shen, who was secretly in league with the Trickster. She offered to foretell Donna Noble's future, but seemed more interested in manipulating her past. Her suggestion that Donna should turn away from her fateful first day at H.C. Clements forced Donna's past to change. It created a parallel world in which the Tenth Doctor was killed during his encounter with the Empress of the Racnoss.
After Donna, with the aid of Rose Tyler, restored the timeline through time travel, the fortune teller fled, terrified that Donna had overcome the Time Beetle. According to the Doctor, the Time Beetle was part of the Trickster's Brigade making it likely the Fortune Teller was also. (TV: Turn Left)
