Talk:The Doctor's Daughter (TV story)
Myths
I think the two I added are justifiable. I saw some chatter wondering if Jenny was Rose's daughter in a few places, not to mention that was the first impression a few people I talked to had when they saw the trailer. The one about the rumored same-sex kiss was also a topic of discussion. Given that the revived series doesn't shy away from such things, it wasn't an unreasonable "myth". 23skidoo 22:20, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Malcassairo
does anyone elso notice the similarity between Malcissairo and Messaline, both indoor and especially outdoor? Bluesilver 17:28, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Companion
Who keeps adding in Jenny as an companion? She doesn't travel with the Doctor or anything and there's no indication she's going to return as one, so she isn't one in my view. --69.11.210.91 20:08, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
She was however offered the chance to be one but 'Died' before actually travelling she is considered a companion in the same way that Astrid was. But given Jenny's rebirth it is significanly more likely she will return. --Assassin of death 11:23, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
I do believe Jenny should be a "guest" companion as what you are stating that Adelaide from Waters of Mars, Christina from Planet of the Dead and Astrid from Voyage of the Damned should not be companions as they did not travel with him. I have noticed that Mickey has been added as a guest companion is Boom Town, and River has been added in Silence in the Library, so I think she should too. - Relevance PS 20:02, 20 August 2010.
Jenny's "death"
Should the page really mention that Jenny was shot in the heart? The bullet landed in the middle of her chest, and having two hearts, they are on either side, not the middle. ProtoKun7 11:44, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Plot holes?
How is this a plot hole? it keeps being added
- If both the Hath and the humans are in a military state and just want soldiers they have no reason to use sexual reproduction and instead use the progenitor.
any ideas? --Assassin of death 11:21, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- I would say remove --Bigshowbower 12:42, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Plot Hole
If, as stated, the war goes through many generations a day, how do all of the soldiers recognise night, treat it as a fact of life, and Cobb reckon that they will be able to shut down and continue in the morning?
- Pre-Programmed memories. Same way they know how to fight. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 13:48, May 16, 2010 (UTC)
Musical reference to Hitchhiker's guide?
In the music for Jenny's first appearance, there is one measure (just before the title credits) that clearly echoes the theme of the "Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy". Could this be a reference to Georgia Moffett being the daughter of the actress that played Trillian in the TV adaptation of the Guide? 71.105.99.2 01:49, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
12 days
When Donna informs the Doctor and Jenny that the stamps in the tunnals and on building are the date she refers to one of them ending in 17 and that today's date was 24. This is how she got 7 days since the war started but there is no mention as to what date the war started and more importantly 17 was not the lowest number shown it was 12 which at the very least means that the rocket landed 12 days before. But it is never stated that the war started on the 17th. Tripodssj6 15:22, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
Enemy
Do the Hath really count as a enemy (yes I understand General Cobb) but I don't think the Hath count as enemy beacuse there fighting a war (and if they do why aren't the military humans in there to?)
will we see her again? the doctor's daughter
No. Peronally, I don't think the Hath should be enemies because they showed no hostility to any The Doctor, Jenny, Donna, or Martha.
Uncredited cast
Removed uncredited cast until we can get a source for this. Not even IMDb mentions the actor or the character name Avolaski. -- Tybort (talk page) 16:20, December 18, 2014 (UTC)
