Attack of the Graske (video game)
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
References
- In this story, Rose has been dropped off at the 1979 ABBA concert at Wembley Stadium. The Tenth Doctor expressed great affection for that particular year, and especially the music of that year, in DW: Tooth and Claw.
- Sarah Jane Smith was apparently aware of the Graske activity on modern-day Earth depicted in this story. Maria Jackson and members of her family also later encountered a Graske. (SJA: Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?)

Story Notes
- This story immediately followed "The Christmas Invasion" and was initially only available to subscribers to the BBC's red button interactive service. Viewers were able to pilot the TARDIS and fight the Graske both on its native world of Griffoth and in Victorian London. From Wednesday 18th January 2006, the story was available to access via the BBC website, but only for UK residents. Currently, it is available for everyone in the world [1]
- The question of whether this episode "counts" as a television story is somewhat muddied by its interactive nature. Some regard it primarily as a game, rather than an episode. However a possible reference to the events of the story can be heard in The Sarah Jane Adventures story Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?, which featured the first undisputed canonical appearance of the Graske, in which Sarah Jane Smith makes reference to there being some Graske activity on earth a couple of years previous. Gareth Roberts wrote both storylines. Changelings and Graske activity at Christmas are also mentioned by Jack Harkness in his Monster Files.
- There is no indication in the game as to when it occurs within the continuity (if at all) of the series; as Rose is referenced it could occur anytime between New Earth and Army of Ghosts.
Given that there is some dispute over whether or not New Earth is The Tenth Doctor and Rose's first adventure, it may have even occured soon after, if not straight after, The Christmas Invasion before the events of New Earth.
