Aggedor is a significant creature from Peladon. The Curse of Peladon and The Monster of Peladon.

Physical Characteristics

The Aggedors are large, hairy creatures with boar-like heads, bear-like bodies and a single horn on their heads. They are about the size when they stand upright, but they tend to stoop over on four feet. They are powerful creatures who can kill a human with their claws and their sheer strength. Aggedors can live for over 50 years and can remember people for at least that long. Aggedors can be trained, since High Priest Hepesh was able to train one.

History

The Aggedors were originally hunted by the Peladonians, who used their fur to trim their clothes. They were becoming rare by the time of The Curse of Peladon. Eventually, they became more important and were eventually worshipped as a type of god. A symbol of nobility and power, Aggedor is the protector of the Peladonian king and the guardian of all of Peladon.

In reality, there were still Aggedors living deep in the mountains of Peladon. High Priest Hepesh was able to find one and tried to use him to scare away the ambassadors from the Galatic Federation.
