Bondsman Tango-Veldt was looking for the Persuasion machine. He cloaked the ship which he thought managed to fool the Seventh Doctor into thinking they weren't there. He wad told by his superior Acquisitor Prime to use any means necessary to collect Kurt Shalk. The Khlecht empire took over the ship and stopped them. (AUDIO: Persuasion)
