Originally Navigational Officer on a spaceship, the Hydrax, in E-Space, MacMillan (eventually Camilla), along with two other officers, ruled the planet she landed on, from the Tower, through keeping the population in a constant fear of The Wasting as Zargo's Queen. Achieving immortality through a race known as the Great Vampires, over the years MacMillan became known as "Camilla", together with Zargo, forbidding all knowledge. Camilla eventually dies when the Doctor launches one of the shuttles into the heart of the Great Vampire, causing Camilla, Zargo, and Aukon to lose their immortality, subsequently ageing to death.
