Val Jolley was a resident of Milton Bradbury. She "did" the church flowers every other Friday.

One Friday as she did the flowers, she encountered the Eriscent. As it tried to communicate with her, it accidentally killed her. (PROSE: The Straw that Broke the Camel's Back)
