The Keeper of the Crimson Chapter of the Orphans of the Future in the early 21st century was a woman. (AUDIO: Buried Secrets)
She had scientists develop a strain of the Marberg virus that grew at fifty times its normal rate. At her signal, members of the Chapter would release the virus all over the Earth, bring about the End of Days prophesied in the Book of Tomorrows. Sarah Jane Smith was infected by this super strain of the virus. The Keeper offered to shoot her so she would not die a slow and agonising death, to which Sarah Jane agreed. (AUDIO: Fatal Consequences) Before the Keeper could carry this out, Josh Townsend shot and killed her, then administered an antidote to Sarah Jane. (AUDIO: Dreamland)
