Welcome to the Tardis:About The Fox King

Thanks for your edits! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is a great time to have joined us, because now you can play the Game of Rassilon with us and win cool stuff! Well, okay, badges. That have no monetary value. And that largely only you can see. But still: they're cool!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a Wikia wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.
British English, please
We generally use British English round these parts, so if you're American, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.
Spoilers aren't cool
We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.
Other useful stuff
Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Thanks for becoming a member of the TARDIS crew! If you have any questions, see the Help pages, add a question to one of the Forums or ask on my talk page. Doug86 16:58, December 27, 2014 (UTC)

A thank you

Hi! As one of the admins on this wiki, I want to thank you for your response to User:BananaClownMan's and your disagreement on the Tenth Doctor article. You handled it in the most appropriate way possible.

However, I have to tell you that his most recent edit summary for the article absolutely does not represent how we do things on this wiki. It was completely uncalled for and he has been blocked for violating Tardis:No personal attacks. Please do not let this experience keep you from editing here, as we do welcome your efforts. Thanks! Re: favor

Hi! The best advice I would give to any new editor would be, one, to browse our Tardis:Tardis Manual and category:policies to get an idea of some of our basic rules; and two, browse the wiki (maybe using the random page button) to get a good look at the different kinds of articles we have.

A few of important pages to read are Tardis:Point of view, Tardis:In-universe perspective and Tardis:Out-of-universe perspective. These pages explain the difference between the two types of articles we have on the wiki.

Any other questions, feel free to ask me or any other admins. Shambala108 04:12, March 25, 2015 (UTC)

Apology

Listen, uh, Fox King, I just wanted to apologise for the way I reacted last month. I was in the middle of a rough day, a really personal bad thing had happened and I was in a "lasing out move". In hindsight, going on to a computer in that mood wasn't my best idea. By that beside the point, listen, I just wants to say how sorry I am for overreacting, it's just that I had spent the previous 3 months updating and cleaning the Doctor pages, and then I see you and an unnamed putting up stuff that I personally didn't agree with in some real poor grammar and... this stopped sounding like an apology letter didn't it. Sorry, I'm not good at admitting when I'm wrong. I also apparently can't stop typing what I say aloud. Oh, great now that's up there too. Back to my point, I'm sorry I threatened consequences I couldn't live up too, it was wrong and I'm sorry.BananaClownMan 18:42, April 22, 2015 (UTC)
