Vorum gas was notably used in some security systems on Space Station Camera. Inhalation of that gas normally caused its target to drop unconscious for hours, but Gallifreyans like the Sixth Doctor were capable of resisting its effects by closing their respiratory passages. (TV: The Two Doctors)
