Everglades

The Everglades were a region of Florida which teemed with a large variety of life. According to one account of Dodo Chaplet's early life, she had once visited the Everglades with her parents. The trip gave her a wish to see more of the world. (PROSE: Salvation) This account, however, was at extreme odds with another one, in which her parents would likely have been far too poor to have ever taken her there in their short lifetimes.
