- Reversible DVD sleeves enabled the collector to display one of two designs featuring either the Doctor and his enemies or his companions.

Notable Information
- 'WOTAN' stood for Will Operating Thought Analogue.
- The Post Office Tower was opened on 8th October 1965 and later renamed the BT Tower.
- Ogrons originated in the 22nd century on one of the Outer Planets. They were simple creatures and had no word for their home planet which has been referred to as Braah or Orestes.
- High Priestess Ohila of the Sisterhood of Karn, brought the Eighth Doctor back to life using Elixir of Life.
- The Shakri were the self proclaimed 'pest controllers of the universe' and the legend behind fairytales told on Gallifrey.
- The title of The Snowmen was a homage to the 1967 first appearance of the Great Intelligence story The Abominable Snowmen.
- The War Doctor's sonic screwdriver shared the same technology as the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors sonic screwdriver – and was telescopic.
- The Dalek Prime Minister was superior to even the white Dalek Supreme. He lived in a special glass tank (like the Emperor of the Daleks), at the heart of the Parliament of the Daleks.
