Darren Plant (1971-1972) had an uncredited role as the infant John Benton in The Time Monster. (DWM 268) According to John Levene on the commentary for The Time Monster, he died shortly after his first birthday. This gives him the unfortunate distinction of being the shortest-lived individual to ever have appeared in Doctor Who.
