The International Space Station, or ISS, orbited Earth in the early 21st century. It was located 400 kilometres above the surface of the planet.
Canadian Chris Hadfield made a video of himself singing on the ISS, creating public interest in space exploration.
In 2015, the crew included Russian Dimitri Yemtov, South Korean Lee Jae-Yong, and Cory, led by Major Weir. That year, the ISS was destroyed by a Hyperion falling to Earth. (COMIC: The Hyperion Empire)
