Talk:Space-time vessel
Proposed deletion
Don't see the point of this article.
- It has no sources.
- It defines a term which is self-evident.
- It's internally inconsistent.
Of these three sins, the one most pertinent to deletion is the latter. It starts out by saying that the term is distinct from time machine, yet it is the page to which time machine redirects. It also starts out by saying that time-space vessels utilize FTL tech, but then says not all of them do. Rather amazingly, therefore, the article goes from trying to define something completely self-evident to so thoroughly confusing the subject that it's impossible to figure out what the article is supposed to be about.
Here are a couple of questions to consider with this proposal for deletion.
- Are there any pure time machines in DW?
- Do space-time vessels in DW actually use FTL tech?
- What purpose does the article serve if it can't be sourced? Is the term "space-time vessel" actually present in DW fiction? Or are the Daleks and Time Lords sufficiently unique in their possession of the technology that all references that might be made to a "space-time vessel" could in fact be made to the types specific to those two cultures?
- Isn't "Time Machine" better redirected to the H.G. Wells novel, since it is established to exist in the Whoniverse by at least the TVM?
