The Skegness Glee Club visited Shangri-La in 1959. They arrived just as the Seventh Doctor was leaving, having prevented the Bannermen from commiting genocide. Shangri-La's manager, Burton, bemoaned his lack of staff to cater for them. (TV: Delta and the Bannermen)
