Talk:Petronella Osgood
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Species
Osgood is said to be both "Zygon" and "Human" at the same time while Zygon Osgood is only "Zygon". Shouldn't at least one of them be changed? --DCLM ☎ 18:36, November 1, 2015 (UTC)
Name
She said her first name was Petronella, sure, but does anyone believe for a second that the Doctor's first name is actually Basil? Kai Ell ☎ 02:18, November 8, 2015 (UTC)

- For what it's worth, Big Finish is also now using the name "Petronella" officially. JagoAndLitefoot ☎ 01:12, November 12, 2015 (UTC)
- It's also appeared on the BBC site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/profiles/nb0PrNpn29JsBkggCkrytT/osgood JagoAndLitefoot ☎ 01:14, November 12, 2015 (UTC)

- Blogtor Who pointed out on twitter that Basil means King, while Petronella is a patron saint of kings. I can see "Petronella" being Osgood's way of calling the Doctor's bluff and I wonder if anyone asked Steven Moffat before changing the official website etc. Prof. Chronotis ☎ 23:38, November 12, 2015 (UTC)
The speedy rename tag has been changed to a rename tag because there is a forum discussion at Thread:183821 over what to do with the multiple Osgood types. So until that thread is resolved, there is no rush to change this page name. Shambala108 ☎ 22:11, November 12, 2015 (UTC)
