Doctor Who mask fabricators are those people credited under the title "Masks", or similar. They were the forerunners of the BBC Wales prosthetics department, and generally had to both design and fabricate masks themselves. In the 21st century Doctor Who production team, their functionality would be devolved to several people — and indeed effectively farmed out to an independent company, Millennium FX.
