Transhuman

Transhumans were a race of elite humans who used biotechnology to alter their own biochemistry in order to survive unconscious for centuries and returns to life as apex predators capable of destroying other humans and anything else that might get in their way. They did this in an effort to colonise a planet known as the Hereafter which was similar to both Earth and Mars. They planned to force generations of their fellow humans to slave away at making the world suitable for human life and then return to wipe out the workers when they were no longer needed.
