The node activator was a device created by the Dimensioneers to access their dimensional nodes. It required a Time Lord to be slaved to it, their mind becoming linked to the nodes. Although locked away in inaccessible rooms, TARDIS models up until the Type 40 contained node activators. (AUDIO: UNIT: Dominion)
