Professor Brask worked alongside Professor Flynt, both leading research developers in plant modifications. They worked on a space station with its own biodome that was kept in the shadow of a planet. Early attempts at enhanced growth and development of potential crops had the unfortunate side effect of aggression in the plants when exposed to even low level light.
Brask, did not share Flynt's commitment to revolutionise the lives of colonists on the outer rim with hardier crops. He saw better opportunities to make money from the sale of viable samples to the military. He stole and sold viable seed samples to Weapontrek, in particular to Jerrix, with whom he was later arrested. (COMIC: Green Fingers)
